Software Engineer Equipment PLC Programmer

Responsibilities
Development of control concepts for assembly- and test equipment using Marquardt standards
Create and present machine control concepts and drafts
Discuss and select solutions together with the specialist departments of the equipment department
Examination of the drafts for feasibility
Commissioning of components such as servo axes, robots, bus systems, etc.
Development of PLC sequences under consideration of the process descriptions from the mechanical construction
PLC programming of the equipment, or equipment units under consideration of the requirements in the specifications and under application of standards
Programming of special processes to ensure the availability of equipment
Programming and execution of machine capability routines
Programming of HMI’s
Project documentation based on predefined processes

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or similar field
Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment
Experience with robotics and machine learning
Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Creative thinking skills
Good verbal and written communication skills ( English )
Strong analytical skills
Ability to keep up with the latest technologies
