Functional Software Tester

Responsibilities
Planification and Execution:
– Creating test strategies and plans for Electronic Control Units (ECUs)
– Creating test specifications based on requirements and implementation in automation scripts
– Planning, execution and control of test specifications
– Integration and validation of ECUs
– Selection of suitable test methods, tools and test specifications (from implementation to approval process)
• Documentation
– Analysis and documentation of the test results
– Communication of the test results
• Support
– Coordination of interfaces and system suppliers
– Contribution in the optimization of the defined setting processes (Vorgabeprozesse) and the real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL-) systems
– Training of new colleagues at TEF-TU
– Startup, validation and upgrade of testing equipments (HILs…) in cooperation with responsible colleagues at TEF Teams
– Purchasing of needed equipments, components…needed for SW Testing activities

Minimum Qualifications
Technical knowledge:
• University degree in electronic or information engineering
• Basic knowledge in ECUs and bus systems in automotive
Soft skills:
• Analytical thinking

• Resilience and assertiveness
• Structured way of working
• Teamwork
