Intersos – Libya and Tunisia Mission is looking for

Technician/Online platform administrator

Responsibilities/duties:
• S/he will be responsible for the creation of a dedicated space on the platform for each specific training
• S/he will review and convert trainings to Moodle requirements
• S/he will correctly and coherently upload the trainings’ material on the platform
• S/he will create ad hoc certificates to be delivered upon successful completion of trainings
• S/he will provide technical mentorship to INTERSOS staff and students on how to effectively use the platform
• S/he will enroll teachers and students to the platform
• S/he will ensure coherence, correct and timely use of the platform by trainers and trainees,
• S/he will support trainers and trainees with troubleshooting related to the technical use of the platform,
• S/he will keep a clear and confidential record of trainees and teachers
• S/he will support the MEAL department in monitoring the activities related to Moodle under his/her responsibility (ex. tracking trainees’ progress and attendance),
• S/he will support in the creation of visual charts to track progress via DataStudio
• S/he will coordinate with the MEAL department to sense-check its analysis of monitoring data regarding trainees’ progress, keep a clear record of all trainees, ensure confidentiality of data and provide regular updates as required to the MEAL department and Programme Officer
• S/he will submit a trainings’ progress report bi-weekly to the Programme Officer and MEAL department,
• S/he will ensure all reports, charts and trainings’ material related to Moodle are stored in dedicated folders on INTERSOS’ Libya and Tunisia mission’s Google Drive

Person Specification:
• University Degree in Education Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Knowledge of DataStudio considered as an asset
• Proactive and self-motivated to advance the use of technology for education
• Good leadership skills
• Respect and non-discriminatory attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Arabic compulsory, proficiency in English, knowledge of French (written and spoken) considered as an asset
• Knowledge of and experience with applying SPHERE Standards, and Core Humanitarian Standards preferred
