A degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
Impeccable writing and editing skills
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
SEO understanding and experience creating content for the web
Highly collaborative and able to work well with different types of people
Ability to be productive working remotely
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and comfortable with rapid changes in direction
High level of experience and proven skills in copywriting and editing
Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms
Experience creating content for marketing, web and a social audience
Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, best practices and methodologies
Editorial requirements include SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects while meeting established deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task at a high level in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as an integral part of a team
