This role requires a deep understanding of catering operations, cost management. Financial Planning & Analysis
• Develop, monitor, and analyse financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the catering business. Budget Management
• Oversee and manage the preparation of budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring alignment with the catering department’s objectives. Cost Control & Optimization
• Work closely with the catering operations team to monitor food, and overhead costs, implementing strategies to optimize cost efficiency and profitability. Revenue Management
• Analyse pricing strategies, revenue streams, and profit margins from catering events, banquets, and contracts to enhance financial performance. Financial Reporting
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow projections, and variance analysis. Cash Flow Management
• Oversee cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable, ensuring timely payment processing and collections. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards specific to the catering and hospitality industry. Collaboration with Operations Team
• Collaborate with the catering and events teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making for event planning, menu pricing, and service optimization. Audit & Internal Controls
• Establish and maintain strong internal control processes and prepare for external audits. Vendor & Supplier Management
• Work with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure financial efficiency. Financial Software & Systems
• Manage the implementation and use of financial software ERP systems to track expenses, revenues, and performance metrics efficiently.
