Prototype Manager – Textile Industry (Technical Garments) M/F in Madagascar

Job Description
Our client Epsilon is seeking an experienced Prototype Manager to oversee the design and development of prototypes in our textile factory specializing in technical garments. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in creating prototypes for technical garments, with an in-depth knowledge of innovative materials, advanced manufacturing processes, and quality standards specific to this sector.

Responsibilities
– Lead the team responsible for developing prototypes for technical garments, overseeing the entire process from conception to realization.
– Collaborate closely with design, product development, and production teams to transform concepts into functional and innovative prototypes.
– Ensure the quality and viability of prototypes by adhering to rigorous standards and development timelines.
– Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure compliance with technical specifications and performance requirements of technical garments.
– Propose improvements and optimizations based on prototype feedback to achieve excellence standards.
Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with specific expertise in developing prototypes for technical garments.
– In-depth knowledge of innovative materials and advanced manufacturing processes specific to creating prototypes for technical garments.
– Proven team management skills and the ability to coordinate complex development projects.
– Capability to solve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance prototypes.
– University degree or equivalent education in textiles, design, or product development, specializing in technical garments.
– Spoken languages: French or English – Malagasy is a plus Additional Information:
– Employment Type: Permanent contract – Full-time
– Location: Antananarivo, Madagascar
– Salary: Based on candidate’s experience and skills
