Derms Expert

We are seeking a skilled DERMS Expert to join our team and lead the Agile implementation of a Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS):
– Professional Experience: more than 7 years working in the energy sector and at least 5 year experience around DER Management Solutions (PVs, EVs, Energy Storage…etc.)
– Academic Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
– Sector Experience: In-depth knowledge in the operation and management of energy distribution systems, Demand Management and Flexibility Markets
– Technical Experience: Experience in Solution design, technical offices, and projects involving DER integration for DSOs and other electricity value chain stakeholders
– Project Management: Experience in the implementation and management of projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), preferably in international and multidisciplinary environments.
– Solution Design: Ability to develop innovative solutions in collaboration with product teams.
Knowledge of network automation, predictive control, and SCADA/ADMS systems.
Familiarity with local and international energy regulations and standards, with a focus on renewable energy integration.
– Availability: The position requires living in Saudi Arabia
– Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and specialized software for the electrical sector.
– Languages
English: C1 level minimum
Arabic: Valuable but not essential
