Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
– Designing and implementing automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments
– Programming for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI),motion control and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Systems
– Documenting the programs designed for the automated systems
– Providing the necessary documentation to the customers for operation, maintenance and qualification of their systems (calibration, capability…)
– Software commissioning of the automated systems
– Providing troubleshooting and support to resolve technical issues for the new and the existing production equipment
– Identifying and implementing improvements in production processes. Improvements may include safety, product quality, increased throughput and equipment reliability

Minimum Qualifications
– Technical studies (electrical engineering or relevant technical field)
– Experience with the design and implementation of automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing
– Strong ability with software testing and validation
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
– Fluent English
