Tool Engineer

Responsibilities
As a Member of industrialization team, you will be responsible for :
Evaluation of the feasibility of new plastic parts on the aspect of plastic suitable design, low waste on production, securing quality demands of the customer
Verification of the tool design in direction of the production (deforming, cooling, venting, part extraction with handling)
Guidance of R&D (mechanical) for “Design with plastic materials” and application support regarding the different plastic materials
Assessment of computeraided filling studies (Moldflow, Cadmould) and deduction of process- and tool opimization measures and formulation of design changes for the goal of a waste less MQ-series-production process
Conception of End of arm tool systems for part extraction and handling
Rationalization of the MQ-series-production process (automatization, reduction of the cycle time, waste reduction)
Definition of tool optimizations actions to ensure the optimal production process regarding quality and waste free production
Support of the tool supplier and the setter in the Technical Center (TC) for process- and tool optimization
Process and tool approval in the Technical Center (TC) or at the tool supplier
Start and attendance of the Serial release process (SRP) to transfer the tool and process to the supposed Marquardt production plant

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field preferred.Equivalent experience may be considered.
2 years of experience in Injection molding Tooling Engineering.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle project with multiple work streams
