Lab Engineer

Mission:

• Supervising electronic lab sessions
• Designing and implementing new labs in coordination with the course lecture
• Advising and consulting in ECE projects and courses at MedTech.
• Providing technical support to students and faculty such as designing and implementing electrical systems.
• Providing technical assistance and supervision for ECE courses and design projects such as demonstrating the proper use of the equipment and the hardware and software to complete assignments.
• Managing and maintaining ECE Labs including inspection and maintenance of the department lab equipment; ensuring safety; keeping records of equipment and lab supplies.
• Trouble-shooting equipment problems and resolving technical lab issues or arranging for repairs to assure stability, functionality and proper configuration of lab equipment and components.
• Coordinating with other departments at SMU concerning purchase, replacement and the upgrade of hardware, software, equipment, training kits, development boards, instruments, and tools.
• Performing other duties when necessary.

Profil:
Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
Effective interpersonal and communications skills.
Effective organizational and planning skills.
